Last Monday the 4th February 2019 a group of participants from New Horizon attended a healthy Ireland working group meeting in Bru Chaoimhin with Gemma one of our facilitators. Greg from the Slanú team chaired the meeting.
It was great to meet other centres and hear their ideas too. We got to have a look at the first draft of the Eve Healthy Ireland Action Plan. We hope to have a ‘Show and Tell’ event in the spring time in the Estuary centre where representatives from all centres will meet and have displays or mini workshops to show what they are doing for Healthy Ireland. We looked at the Eve Healthy Ireland corporate action plan 2019-2023, ‘Living Well Working Well’. We spoke about the different subjects and what our centres can do to promote and deliver programmes that ensure Healthy Ireland is uppermost on our agenda. we are meeting again in early March.
